RoboHansa

RoboHansa is an autonomous sailing drone modeled after the inclusive Hansa Class sailboat.

RoboHansa incorporates drone control technology to create a sailing dinghy capable of both automatic and computer-assisted sailing. The base model, Hansa, is a small keelboat applied with universal design principles, allowing both able-bodied and disabled individuals to safely and enjoyably engage in sailing without distinction.

In addition, through research and development of UI/UX, our goal is to broaden the reach of sailing as a sustainable and inclusive form of mobility, and to revitalize life at sea.

In June 2025, it achieved a 35km computer-assisted sailing test between Sakata and Tobishima Island in Yamagata, Japan. RoboHansa is being developed not only as an autonomous passenger/cargo sailboat but also as a tool to aid in sailing for all individuals.

RoboHansaは、インクルーシブなヨットであるハンザ級をベースとした自律航行型ドローンです。RoboHansaは、ドローン制御技術を応用し、自動航行とコンピューター支援による航行の両方が可能なセーリングディンギーです。ベースモデルであるHansaは、ユニバーサルデザインの原則を適用した小型キールボートで、健常者と障がい者の両方が区別なく安全かつ楽しくセーリングを楽​​しむことができます。

さらに、UI/UXの研究開発を通じて、持続可能でインクルーシブな移動手段としてのセーリングの普及と、海上生活の活性化を目指しています。RoboHansaは、自律型旅客・貨物用ヨットとしてだけでなく、あらゆる人のヨット操船を補助・帆走能力を拡張するツールとして可能性を持っています。

As part of the "Smart Island Promotion Demonstration and Research Project", an unmanned sailboat drone demonstration was conducted on September 23, 2022, at the Port of Sakata in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture (collaborated with Everblue Technologies in 2022).

「スマートアイランド推進実証調査業務」の一環として、2022年9月23日、山形県酒田市の酒田港で、無人の帆船型ドローンの実証実験が行われました（エバーブルーテクノロジーズ株式会社のドローン技術アドバイザーとして参画）。
