SmartSail~visualize performance on-sail display as colours~

SmartSail improves the sail handling by displaying the changes of the sail's surface on the sail itself, reducing the user's workload and providing real-time sail information to both sailors and spectators.

SmartSailはセイルの操作効率等をリアルタイムでセイル自体に色やアニメーションなどで表示する、直感的なセーリングを可能とするインタフェースです。

SmartSail is an interface that presents information on the sail itself to make sail trimming more intuitive and reduce the burden of learning and sailing. For example, even novice sailors can keep the color SmartSail displays on the sail surface green to ensure proper sailing. The colors and their changing patterns not only make sailing more accessible for everyone through simple and intuitive operation but also enable the user to monitor the boat and its status remotely by utilizing the sail, which is the largest part of a sailboat, as a display.

SmartSailは直感的なセイルトリミングを可能にし、セーリングの習得や操船の負担を軽減するため、セイルそのものに情報を表示するインタフェースです。例えば初心者であってもSmartSailがセイル表面に提示する色を緑に保つことで、ヨットを適切に帆走させることができます。また、色やその変化のパターンなどによって、セーリングをシンプルで直感的な操作によって誰でも楽しめるよりインクルーシブなスポーツにするだけではなく、ヨットの最も大きなパーツであるセイルをディスプレイとすることで、離れた場所からでもボートやその状況を把握することができます。
